I have always thoroughly enjoyed working in print, and over my time at college I think I have developed good technical ability in screen-printing, mono-printing and lino. Out of interest I have began looking at print studios in London, as this is where I would ideally like to live after graduation. I am looking at print studios either to source somewhere I can continue to have access to printing facilities whilst living in London, or as a possible job working as a resident screen-printer or workshop assistant.

Jealous is a contemporary gallery, print publisher and printing studio based in North and East London. They collaborate to create limited edition screen-prints with artists, galleries, designers and museums. Their work can be found in places like the Tate Modern or Soho House, and they have also been known to work for clients such as The White Cube and Quentin Blake. Jealous have two galleries, situated in Crouch End and Shoreditch, that show monthly exhibitions of artist-led and in house work.
They run two competitions in which I would be able to enter:
Jealous Needs You - Submit an image that could become a 3-5 colour screen-print. They print 36 editions, and split them 50/50 with the artist. Half will be sold by Jealous and the other half however the artist pleases, but the price must remain the same. (Submission : January - already passed but next year?)
Jealous Mural Rooftop Project: Good opportunity to get to know the jealous team, and often instigates collaboration. Submit a proposal via the website. The wall is 6.3 x 2.8 metres, and they rotate artists each and every month.

Sonsoles Print Studio is a fully equipped, open access print studio based in South East London and run by Royal College of Art MA printmaking graduates. Membership lasts 1 year and costs £60, it gives you access to the studio for print preparation: material and print storage, light box, cutting mats, kitchen/eating area and wifi. As a member you can then book print sessions, these last up to 3 hours and cost £15.00 (prep time not included).

Print Club London was established in 2007 by Fred and Kate Higginson. They both work in collaboration with Rose Stallard, illustrator and creative director, to produce work for clients such as Stella McCartney and Nike. In their print studio they also run workshops for beginners to more experienced printmakers. They also run an online shop selling limited edition prints by a range of artists.
Millers Junction http://www.millersjunction.com/ : Print Club London provides desk space to rent for 45 illustrators, animators, designers and many other creatives - including collectives and individual freelancers, situated in Dalston. For £220pm they provide: free use of print facilities (10hrs pm), kitchen/dining area, free wifi, use of gallery space, meeting room for client bookings and access to a library stocked with art journals, magazines and books.
Tuckshop London http://tuckshoplondon.com/ : Run by resident printmakers at Print Club London, Tuckshop London is a screen-printing service for illustrators, designers and bands.

People of Print was founded by Marcroy Smith, in 2008, as a directory of illustrators, designers and printmakers. In 2013 People of Print, as it is now, was formed - a team of art directors, illustrators, designers and printmakers based in Dalston, London. They provide a print consultation and full screen-printing services for t-shirts and art prints, working for clients such as Levis, Dove and the V&A.
They also self-publish a magazine called 'Print isn't Dead' and a poster/magazine called Posterzine under the publishing name In Perpetuum. You can submit work to People of Print here: https://www.peopleofprint.com/submit/
