Should I do an MA?
I've always generally been quite set against doing an MA straight out of an undergraduate degree. One of the main reasons is that I am actually quite looking forward to be working and out of education. I also think that gaining experience through working in the creative industries could lead me into something more specialised, and at that point I can choose an MA that would make a lot of sense for me personally and be useful in furthering my career or artistic practice.
For now, I could envision myself doing a masters in perhaps print-making or ceramics, because these are two areas of my practice that I have not dedicated as much time to as I would have liked at college.
Possible MAs I may be interested in:
- MA Visual Arts : Printmaking, at Camberwell college of Arts.
- MA Design (ceramics), at Central St Martins.
